OTI Action Centre Facilities

The Ottawa Talent Initiative Action Centre facilities are available free of charge for use by unemployed or under-employed high tech professionals, as well as organizations and small businesses in the Ottawa area high tech community.

Our facilities include meeting rooms and various support equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopier and fax machine. (Directions to the Centre).

Computers:

OTI has four computer workstations. The computers are equipped with Windows XP, Office 2003 and Internet connection, and they are all connected to a printer.

Meeting Spaces:

OTI has three meeting spaces of various sizes. There are two conference rooms and a large general area meeting space.

The smaller conference room has a white board, projection screen, accessible outlets, speaker phone and internet connection. This room has a large table that can accommodate eight people.

The larger conference room has accessible outlets, white board and table and chairs to accommodate 12.

The general area meeting space has a flip-chart easel and a large conference table and chairs to accommodate up to 14. This meeting space can also accommodate larger groups in theatre-style seating, which can accommodate up to 40.

A portable projection screen and portable LCD projector can be booked for use in the centre. Meeting spaces and use of the portable projector must be arranged in advance through the OTI Office Administrator.

OTI Action Centre facilities are available during normal business hours from Monday to Friday. Special arrangements may be made for use during off hours.
