Description:
Intelcan Technosystems Inc. is seeking an independent self-starter to play an integral role in within the proposal team in the development of large, customer-focused proposals, evaluating technical requirements, designing solutions, producing technical documents and proposal estimates •Evaluate and analyze RFPs and other customer bid documents as well as sales generated information based on customer needs to determine the scope/magnitude of work to be performed •Generate preliminary conceptual technical solutions to satisfy customer requirements and develop ROM estimates for use in the Bid/No-bid process •Contact and build strong relationships with corporate suppliers to obtain quotes and documentation directly related to customer requirements. Evaluate the submissions for accuracy and consistency •Produce documents for technical proposals that detail the solution (including drawing layouts) and edit other technical materials which supplement the proposal, ensuring accuracy and consistency •Work with engineers and project managers to generate information for proposals and ensure that the different elements of the proposal integrates seamlessly to produce a comprehensive and compelling solution •Participate/present in bid boards, capture plans, program reviews •Works with team members to coordinate and prioritize the demand for proposal resources •Provide insight for proposal structure •Other duties, as required
Qualifications:
•Fluently bilingual (English and French). Spanish and other languages would be an asset •Bachelors degree in engineering or a technical discipline •Minimum 3 years in a similar position or equivalent •Proficient in writing and editing documents •Extensive understanding of the proposal development process •Excellent writing skills in the preparation of technical documents and program plans •Comprehensive technical, communication, supervisory skills and abilities •Strong analytical and problem solving skills •Enthusiastic and ambitious, works well with others under pressure •Ability to plan workload and make informed decisions quickly •Experience in network design and installation •Must have an understanding of the fundamentals of telecommunications and CNS/ATM systems. Experience in air traffic control or airport planning is considering an asset. •Establish and maintain a good and efficient working relationship among the team and the organization
