	Description:	Location: Ottawa, Ont Type: Permanent – would consider contract Seeking a full-time RF design designer with a passion for RF for R&D related to a RFID locator product being designed and developed. This product is based on S5’s patent-pending location technology which has the unique ability to locate passive UHF tags. This is a new RFID based product where you will be responsible for designing, developing and debugging RF board based on novel patent-pending invention in the RFID and localization fields. You’ll work through the entire product lifecycle including execute projects from initial concept, through development cycle and laboratory testing, to the finished product. MUST REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years hands-on RF design & debug experience • Excellent knowledge of RF propagation, SNR, multipath, sensitivity issues. • Hands-on RF design experience within the last 2 years. • 5+ years OrCad Capture or other tools • 2+ years OrCad PCB Layout or other layout tools • 3+ Digital board design experience ASSET: • Experience interfacing with antennas, TX/RX Isolation issues etc • Understanding of ranging principles.
